Serving Our Community’s Needs

Ministries at North Toxaway

At North Toxaway, we believe the local church is how God means to disciple us through every stage of life. Here’s what that takes shape as in our congregation.

Kids (birth–5th grade)

Sunday morning: Sunday School at 9:45 AM. Children join their families for the worship service at 11:00 AM, or stay in our nursery if they’re too young.

Nursery: Every Sunday morning. Birth through preschool. Two trained volunteers, secure check-in.

Purpose People: Our after-church kids program meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, from the end of service until 3 PM. Lunch, Bible lesson, games, and a chance to bring a friend.

Adults

Sunday School (9:45 AM): Multiple classes for adults of every season. Coffee’s on by 9:30.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting (7:00 PM): A midweek hour for prayer, scripture, and walking with each other through whatever the week is bringing.

Outreach

Food Bank: Every two weeks on Friday, we hand out groceries to families in the Lake Toxaway community. No paperwork, no questions asked. If you need help, come; if you can give a couple of hours, we always need volunteers.

Meals Ministry: Each month, members of our church cook and deliver meals to seniors in the area. Sometimes the food matters most; sometimes the visit matters more.

Want to plug in?

Every one of these ministries runs on volunteers from the congregation — folks who fold bulletins, rock babies, drive meals, and stay late to clean up. If you’re wondering where you might fit, the easiest first step is to mention it after a service or to drop a note in the contact form. We’ll get you connected with the right person.
