Pastor’s Update — May 7, 2026

On this National Day of Prayer, we are reminded that America’s strength has never rested in our military, economy, or institutions alone, but in the righteousness and mercy of the one true God. Our nation, like ancient Israel, has been richly blessed, yet we have too often exchanged truth for lies, light for darkness, and the fear of the Lord for the approval of men.

Genuine Christians understand that sin is real, that God’s moral law stands unchanging, and that judgment begins in the household of God (1 Peter 4:17). True national healing will not come through politics or programs, but through the Church’s humble return to Scripture, repentance from personal and corporate sin, and wholehearted dependence on the Lord Jesus Christ—the only Mediator between God and man.

May God raise up faithful leaders who acknowledge His sovereign rule and govern according to His principles of justice and truth. I love our nation and I’m proud to be called an American but my hope lies in nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. On Christ the solid rock I stand!

Remember our special prayer time today from 5pm-6pm in the sanctuary.
