Yesterday was one of those days. One of those days where the phone never stopped ringing nor did the txt messages stop popping up.
I made you aware of the needs I could share publicly. Praise the Lord, He is working in all those needs. Austin is stable but has a long road ahead. Haden had successful surgery. Ray will have another surgery today. So please continue to pray. Yet there were so many more. Not just yesterday but all week.
Everyone knows I’m deaf in one ear. Plus, Susan says I have selective hearing. A condition I’m told most men exhibit. So I have my ringtone on my phone pretty loud. Earlier this week I was with someone who didn’t know all of those facts and when the phone went off they looked astonished. I’m not sure if there were astonished by the volume or the ringtone itself. My ringtone is “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Ozbourne.
Heres the lyrics to the first verse
Crazy, that’s how it goes
Millions of people living as fools
Maybe it’s not to late
To learn how to love and forget how to hate
Mental wounds not healing
Lifes a bitter shame
I’m going off the rails on a crazy train
I’m going off the rails on a crazy train
Later in the second verse he states he’s looked for answers in lots of places but never really found them.
This week has definitely been a “Crazy Train” but I have to remind myself and I try to remind those around me and those I minister too that I have found the answer and the answer is Jesus. There is no chaos, no accident, no hurt that is beyond His power. I have to rely upon Him because I certainly can’t do it alone.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There is something about that name.
