Your eternal inheritance is not like earthly treasures. It is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading (1 Pet. 1:4). “Imperishable” means it is incorruptible and unable to decay. The Greek word used describes a land that had never been ravaged or plundered by an invading army. The idea is that your spiritual inheritance is secure and can never be stolen by an intruder—not even Satan himself. “Undefiled” speaks of something unpolluted by sin. “Will not fade away” suggests a supernatural beauty that time cannot destroy
.Your inheritance is unique among treasures. No one can steal it, and nothing can corrupt or diminish it in any way. It’s yours to enjoy to its fullest throughout all eternity. Don’t let the pursuit of perishable things distract you from the joy of eternal riches.

I have been made aware of some special needs in our community for a single mom and her son. Tomorrow there will be a list of clothing items and sizes for the mom and son. If you would like to help meet those needs sign up and return those items next Sunday. Please purchase new or very gently used items. You may also write a check to NTBC and put Benevolence in the memo to help with additional needs. Several of our awesome folks have already made contact and helped with emergency items and the Benevolence team is helping to pay some bills.
Wednesday
On Wednesday night we will be offering a Certified CPR class. Our own Amanda Owen will be teaching the class. The cost will be $8. A hot dog dinner will be provided. The time will be from 6pm-9pm. I encourage most of you to come and take the class. There will be a signup sheet available in the morning or you may send me a message letting me know you will be attending.
