Anchor yourself in the permanence of God’s word. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will not pass away. (Matt 24:35) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. (2 Tim 3:16–17) In this word, your redemption is promised, and your perseverance is guaranteed — not by your strength, but by His.
The Psalmist also wrote, “I will hide your words in my heart that I may not sin against you.” His WORD in our hearts prevents sin!
The permanence is in the Word. The proof is in the Word. The promise is in the Word. Plus, the prevention of sin is in the Word!
