Pastor’s Update — June 6, 2026

I often wonder why people thrive on gossip and complaining. Is it a sense of power/pride that they have knowledge that others do not possess? Is it genuinely evil intent to destroy someone by exposing their faults? Is it a way to elevate their status by getting everyone else to look dirty? Whatever the reason it’s origin is hell and will not only destroy those being talked about, those doing the talking, but also the unity, love, and compassion of a group.

On the other hand I rejoice in seeing genuine love being lived out daily. It thrills my soul to hear of calls/txt being made to check on others. Hearing promises to pray, hugs being given, tears in the eyes of two talking together, and laughter being shared are all evidence of one Spirit, one heart, one mission being lived out.

If you are in group one REPENT! If you are trying to be in group two REJOICE!

Peace is so much more pleasant than pettiness!
