Pastor’s Update — June 25, 2026

The Bible does not shy away from giving us characters with the same faults and failures we are afflicted with today.

I often reference David as one of those examples. A man with some of the greatest victories ever recorded in scripture. Yet a man afflicted with doubt, fear, and anxiety at other times. He was consumed by lust which led to adultery and murder. Despite these flaws he was considered a man after God’s own heart.

The conclusion we should not draw from David’s life is it’s ok to live however I want and it will be fine. David over and over again suffered great consequences for his doubt and sin. The lesson we should learn is that David always returned to God in repentance and humility.

Our sin is never acceptable to God. It is our repentance that restores the right relationship with Him. As long as there is breath it is never to late to repent. If you have strayed from the narrow path, if you have sinned, repent. God is forgiving. Pray as David prayed that the joy of God’s salvation would return.

Blessings to you today my brothers and sisters. I’ve prayed for you and I love you!
