Pastor’s Update — October 21, 2026

Some thoughts this morning that go along with Sunday’s message.

Psalm 96:8

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!”

This verse is a clear call to worship that begins with God Himself. We do not invent glory or decide what He deserves. We ascribe—we give back to Him—the glory that already belongs to His name. Anything less than full-hearted praise falls short of what He is due.

The call does not stop at words. It moves to action: “bring an offering, and come into his courts.” Today we bring the offering of ourselves—our time, our obedience, our resources, and our praise!

Psalm 96 reminds us that true worship is active. It is not passive listening or casual attendance. It is deliberate. When we do this, our private devotion and public praise become a witness to His majesty.
