It really is this simple.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
As Solomon concludes the book of Ecclesiastes determining that most of the physical things of this world are vanity he gives this simple statement. To a man that genuinely possessed everything his flesh desired or wanted the sum of it all was so simple even a child can understand. Fear God and keep His commandments. The wisest counsel then is still relevant today.
Update on Leisa
She did have a major heart attack yesterday. They placed 3 stents and will be placing 2 more this morning. She was obviously weak and exhausted but talked with several of us at length before resting the remainder of the day. Please keep her in your prayers. They told her the first 48 hours were the most critical but gave a very good long term prognosis.
