Recently our church was able to purchase to new AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillator’s). Amanda Owen helped us work with a non-profit organization from Cashiers to purchase these devices for half price, about $900 each.
We are blessed to have these available in case they are ever needed by our congregation. It is also important that we have training to use these devices properly and we can use them under stress.
There will be a training class tomorrow night at 7pm in the sanctuary. This will replace our normal Wednesday night service. This training is available to anyone in the church that would like to attend. If you are a Sunday School teacher, in leadership of any of our teams, or team member I highly encourage you to attend. There will also be some basic first aid training offered. In the near future we will offer a certified CPR class for those that would like to attend.
Amanda Owen will lead the training with Hannah Morgan assisting.
