I had an unsettling experience this week as someone relayed to me a story of sexual abuse. Unfortunately I began to ponder all the ramifications of sexual sin and its impact on our world. Let me give you a brief list of things that would be missing from this world if we simply obeyed God’s moral law on sex and marriage.
No adultery that destroys families, jobs, and the minds and hearts of those involved.
No porn industry that is now over 100 billion dollar a year industry
No sex trafficking
No STD’s
No pedophilia
No transgender agenda
I could go on and on. Sexual deviation knows no limit. I’m sure there are others you could name.
I’m sure some will be offended. I’m also sure man left to his own desires will destroy himself. You are not free to follow your heart. The Bible clearly tells us the heart of man is deceitful and desperately wicked.
God’s plan was and is one man and one woman joined together, in a covenant before Him, in a committed, self-sacrifing, loving marriage. The beautiful gift of sex was designed for inside the covenant of marriage only.
